DESIGNING & IMPLEMENTING KEY PERFORMANCE INDICTOR
Public Training
IBIS SLIPI-Hotel, Jakarta,
2223 December 2008
****************************************************************
OVERVIEW
*********************
aksi melalui konsep Objective, KPI, Target, & Initiative-nya.
yang disebut Management by Control Unit; Seorang Direktur/Manager

Corrosion Control Management & Coating Technology
CORROSION CONTROL MANAGEMENT & COATING TECHNOLOGY
FOUR DAYS PUBLIC TRAINING
GRAN MELIA, – HOTEL, KUNINGAN, JAKARTA,
27 – 30 Oktober 2008
Latar Belakang
*******************
Kerusakan komponen dan peralatan industri akibat fenomena korosi
mengambil porsi sangat besar dari maintenance cost. Penanganan
fenomena korosi maka HANDAL TRAINING & CONSULTING menyelenggarakan
short course dengan judul :
"CORROSION CONTROL MANAGEMENT & COATING TECHNOLOGY"
pengetahuan teknik penanganan kerusakan komponen akibat fenomena
korosi dan penanganan antisipasi dari aspek management. Kemampuan
menangani kasus kegagalan komponen/alat.
Tujuan
*************
Tujuan penyelenggaraan pelatihan empat (4) hari CORROSION CONTROL
MANAGEMENT & COATING TECHNOLOGY ini adalah :
1. Memahami modus dan parameter penyebab terjadinya kegagalan alat
akibat fenomena korosi
2. Identifikasi ketersediaan Computer Soft-Ware dalam melakukan
analisa korosi
3. Memahami langkah dalam melakukan corrosion risk assessment
4. Aplikasi Corrosion Monitoring and Inspection terhadap sistem
peralatan industri

Fitness For Service Engineering Assessment & Plant Integrity Management
FITNESS for SERVICE ENGINEERING ASSESSMENT & PLANT INTEGRITY
MANAGEMENT
FOUR DAYS PUBLIC TRAINING
GRAN MAHAKAM, – HOTEL, BLOK M, JAKARTA,
22 – 25 July 2008
WHAT IS Fitness For Service?
***********************************
Burned pressure vessels; deformed pipes; corroded storage tank;
cracked flanges. Should we replace these equipments? Is it still
operable? If so, then is it still operable within required
conditions? Is it really safe to operate? Question no more, FFS
Assessment can answer it.
An FFS assessment is an engineering analysis of equipment to
determine whether it is fit for continued service. The equipment may
contain flaws/damaged areas, may not comply with current design
standards, or maybe subject to more severe operating conditions than
the design conditions.
The result of an FFS assessment is a decision to alter, repair,
monitor, or replace the equipment. FFS assessment may also provide
guidance on appropriate inspection intervals or remaining life
estimation depends on flaw type and severity.
FFS assessments employ analytical methods to assess flaws/damage and
require an interdisciplinary approach with an understanding of:
• Damage mechanisms and material behavior.
• Past and future operating conditions.
• NDT examination techniques (flaw location and sizing).
• Material properties (environmental effects).
• Stress analysis (finite element analysis, FEA)
• Data analysis (engineering reliability models).
The use of FFS assessment can extend the useful life of aging
equipment. In some cases, it allows new equipment with acceptable
flaws/damage to enter service, resulting in the avoidance of repair
or replacement in situations in which the conventional codes would
have required massive efforts. Thus greatly reducing costs and time
required for equipments replacement/repair.
API RP 579 GUIDELINES
**************************
API RP 579 provides guidance for conducting FFS Assessment using
methods specifically prepared for equipment in the refining and
petrochemical industry. The guidelines can be used to make run-
repair-replace decisions to ensure that pressurized equipment
containing flaws can continue to operate safely.
API RP 579 supplements the requirements in API 510 (pressure vessel
inspection code), API 570 (piping inspection code), and API 653
(aboveground storage tank inspection code). API RP 579 basically has
three functions:
• To ensure safety of plant personnel and the public while older
equipment continues to operate.
• To provide technically sound FFS assessment procedures to ensure
that different service provider furnish consistent life
predictions.
• To help optimize maintenance and operation of existing facilities
to maintain availability of older plants and enhance long-term
economic viability.
Assessment procedures in API RP 579 can be used for FFS assessments
and for rerating of components designed and constructed to the
following codes:
• ASME B&PV code section VIII, Division 1 & Division 2;
• ASME B&PV code section I;
• ASME B31.3 & ASME B31.1 Piping code;
• API 650 & API 620
• Other recognized codes & standards
API RP 579 provides 9 types of individual flaws/damages assessment.
Each flaw type can be used in conjunction with other type of flaw to
assess a multiple flaw occurrence. For example, an out-dated burned
pressure vessel can be assessed with fire damage flaw, general metal
loss, localized metal loss, blisters & laminations flaw, and shell
distortion flaw.
API RP 579 provides three level of assessment for each for each flaw
and damage type. Each assessment level provides a balance of
conservatism, the amount of information required for the assessment,
and the complexity of analysis.

MANAGEMENT
FOUR DAYS PUBLIC TRAINING
GRAN MAHAKAM, – HOTEL, BLOK M, JAKARTA,
22 – 25 July 2008
WHAT IS Fitness For Service?
***********************************
Burned pressure vessels; deformed pipes; corroded storage tank;
cracked flanges.
• ASME B&PV code section VIII, Division 1 & Division 2;
• ASME B&PV code section I;
• ASME B31.3 & ASME B31.1 Piping code;

Managing Safely
MANAGING SAFELY
MULIA-HOTEL, Jakarta 24-28 March 2008
Don't just train...inspire?
Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Managing Safely certificate
It's not about teaching, it's about learning No more `death by
PowerPoint'. We know that getting people fully involved, having fun,
and learning by doing, is the way to achieve health and safety
training success. We want to get delegates really thinking about
what they're learning – and having the confidence and enthusiasm to
put it into practice when they're back at work.
This course is unlike any other. You'll find a practical programme,
full of step-by-step guidance, and with a sharp business focus. But
you'll also find that the highly innovative format and content
engages and inspires delegates – critical to getting essential
health and safety messages across.
Managing safely: introducing a completely new approach to health and
safety training
• a four/five-day course covering the health and safety management
basics in a high impact interactive package
• no jargon or off-putting legal language
• clear scenarios that managers can relate to superb quality
animated graphics created exclusively for the course
• a range of ready-to-use training tools, including a board game,
DVDs and quizzes
• a sophisticated but fun presentation
• first class technical content, based on what delegates need to
know in practice
Who should go on Managing safely?
**************************************
Managing safely is for managers and supervisors in any sector, and
any organisation. It's designed to get managers up to speed on the
practical
What will they get out of it?
***********************************
What they need to know – and are perhaps reluctant to learn about –
in a refreshingly informal way.
What will their employer get out of it?
**********************************************
• nationally recognised and respected certificated training for
their managers and supervisors
• peace of mind offered by training actions they need to take to
handle that's designed and quality controlled health and safety in
their teams. By the Chartered body for health and safety
professionals
• flexibility – the four/five day programme can be delivered in
slots that suit the business
• two key areas – health and safety and environmental basics – are
covered in a single programme
Managing safely won't turn delegates into safety experts – but it
will give them the knowledge and tools to tackle the health and
safety issues.
Managing safely covers...
****************************************
1. Introducing managing safely
Some managers may see health and safety as an add-on to their role –
even an intrusion. The first module makes it clear that managers are
accountable for their teams, and makes a persuasive case for
managing safely.
2. Assessing risks
This module defines and demystifies`risk' and `risk assessment'.
Risk assessments and a simple scoring system are introduced, and
delegates carry out a series of assessments.
3. Controlling risks
Here the session tackles cutting risks down, concentrating on the
best techniques to control key risks, and how to choose the right
method.
4. Understanding your responsibilities
down environmental impacts. This module looks at the demands of the
law and how the legal system works, and introduces a health and
safety management system.
5. Identifying hazards
All the main issues any operation has to deal with are covered in
this module – entrances and exits, work traffic, fire, chemicals,
electricity, physical and verbal abuse, bullying, stress, noise,
housekeeping and the working environment, slips, trips and falls,
working at height, computers and manual handling.
6. Investigating accidents and incidents
The session starts with why accidents should be investigated, and
goes on to cover why things go wrong, and how to carry out an
investigation when they do.
7. Measuring performance
This module explains how checking performance can help to improve
health and safety. Delegates learn how to develop basic performance
indicators, and get to grips with auditing and proactive and
reactive measuring
8. Protecting our environment
A short but effective introduction to waste and pollution leads into
a look at how organizations and individual managers can get involved
in cutting

An Intelligence System to World Class Manufacturing
FOUR DAYS PUBLIC TRAINING
GRAN MELIA – HOTEL JAKARTA,
4 – 7 December 2007
Background
***************
In this hyper competitive market era, the technology has been changed
significantly in last two decade. The real maintenance data is
strongly influenced to the decision will be made. A Supervisory
Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) refers to a system that collects
data from various sensors at a factory, plant or in other remote
locations and then sends this data to a central computer which then
manages and controls the data. SCADA is a term that is used broadly
to portray control and management solutions in a wide range of
industries. Some of the industries where SCADA is used are Water
Management Systems, Electric Power, Traffic Signals, Mass Transit
Systems, Environmental Control Systems, and Manufacturing Systems.
One of key processes of SCADA is the ability to monitor an entire
system in real time. This is facilitated by data acquisitions
including meter reading, checking statuses of sensors, etc that are
communicated at regular intervals depending on the system. Besides
the data being used by the Remote Terminal Units RTU, it is also
displayed to a human that is able to interface with the system to
override settings or make changes when necessary.
This four days course enhances your performance on theoretical
analysis and real work in term of a handling SCADA System at the
